Use

For determining the force, tensile resistance, elongation and tensile force absorption (TEA) in paper, cardboard, tissue or other materials.

Device description

This tensile tester is intuitive and easy to operate via the touchscreen and the clearly arranged control buttons. The software is configured for use according to ISO, ASTM and DIN standards and customized configurations are also possible. It is supplied with a load cell (customer’s choice) and the customer can choose between manual or pneumatic clamping. Separate start/stop buttons facilitate operation and control. The maximum distance between the clamps is 300 mm and the test speed is adjustable from 0.2 to 330 mm/min. The device has an RS-232 port with ASCII and super high-speed binary mode, a USB port and an Ethernet RJ45 10/100 port for maintenance work and printer connection. All parameters such as test speed, test length, break and preload levels can be set individually.
