Device description
The sheet press enables the dewatering and pressing of hand-prepared paper sheets in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the applicable standards for the preparation of laboratory slides. The sturdy, parallel press plates are moved by four pneumatic cylinders to ensure uniform pressure. The excess water drains away via the drainage channel. The entire working unit is integrated into a housing to ensure safe and convenient operation. The parameters ‘pressure’, ‘pressing time’ and ‘lowering speed’ can be set on the control module. The emergency stop switch is positioned within the user’s field of vision.
