Haindl fractionator

Description

Successor to the Brecht Holl fractionator

original Einlehner

Code: P.300.xxx

Use

For determining the splinter content and for classifying fibers.

Device description

The Haindl fractionator is made from high-quality, corrosion-free materials. In the lower part of the fractionator there is a motor with an eccentric which moves a rubber membrane up and down. The speed of the motor and thus the number of strokes per minute can be set to up to 200 strokes per minute. The pulsating membrane generates pressure and suction movements on the sieve plate mounted above it. The standard sieve plate has slots with a width of 0.15 mm, through which smaller fiber components are flushed out, while larger particles or splinters remain on the sieve plate. The water is sprayed through the sieve via a calibrated ring nozzle. The fractionation time is set using a timer.
