Use
For determining the water and oil absorption of samples with a defined size.
Device description
The COBB Tester Cylinder encloses a test area of 100 cm² and is used to expose the test material to water or oil. This device is supplied with a polished stainless steel dedusting roller with which the sample can be dusted between two blotting papers on a POM plate. A non-absorbent rubber lip seals the test area. The quick-clamping device (model P.307.100-K only) enables the sample to be removed quickly after the test time preset on the digital stopwatch has elapsed.
