First installation ACTEGA North America
PTE Austria, together with its German partner Schnettler Technologies, has delivered and commissioned the first plant for the new pulp testing laboratory of ACTEGA North America in Philadelphia – USA.
First commissioning of PTE Austria equipment for new pulp laboratory at ACTEGA North America
PTE Austria’s Managing Director Michael and our German business partner Andreas traveled to Philadelphia to commission the delivered equipment and train the laboratory staff of ACTEGA North America.
For PTE Austria it was the first delivery to ACTEGA and a premiere for both Michael and Andreas, who had never traveled to the USA before.
The flight from Frankfurt/Germany to Philadelphia takes about 8 hours and when the two arrived at the airport they were tired and exhausted.
After a restful night in the hotel, they visited the new pulp testing laboratory of ACTEGA North America, a leading manufacturer of water-based and energy-curing coatings, inks and adhesives for the printing and graphic arts industry, to train the laboratory staff on the new PTE Austria equipment.
The intensive training lasted three days and afterwards Michael and Andreas took time to get an impression of Philadelphia and New York.
